  1. @frog2050, Hi Guys I finally managed to install the SMEG+iv2 on citroen berlingo. it works fine but I realized I do not have FADE adjustment on the unit so there is no sound coming out of rear speakers. I also connected a diag to see if I can activate it. there are some fact I have to share before: - to code my VIN number on the unit I was not able to do that through SMEG+ menu on the diag every thing was deactivate and I could not do any changes. I tried it with RNEG2010 menu and it was functioned so I did VIN coding with RNEG2010. - through SMEG+ on diag2000 Many parameters are reading but I do not have the possibility to change any thing. if I try to do it with RNEG2010 i can change the parameters but in last step when i want to save the changes i would encounter with the error: PROGRAMMING FAILED - I have tested the rear speakers with actuator test option with my diag but when i actuate both front and rear speakers the test sound coming from just front speaker. - the AUX also does not function which I guess is related to rear speakers - I tried to change from 2 speaker to 4 speaker with RNEG2010 with diag but as I described in last step I have programming failed error. - I also have 2 error stuck on telematics section while i do a global error check which is related to DAB antena and FM areal antena. that is fine because i do not have all 3 antenna connected and I have just 1 from my old RD4 redio unit. I am fine with that the sound qualityis good and all equalizers function but it is dissapointing that i do not have rear speakers. do you have any idea what to do. the rear speakers worked on my old RD4. Bluetooth and wifi also work fine but I have no Idea what is wifi option useful for! how can I take any advantage of wifi. I a, sure browsing and surfing was not the pupose of this option. happy easter cheers
  2. I found a loose socket with 2 wire under the ceiling which i guess it is for microphone. but there is not wires more than 3, connecting to head unit which is for existing AUX. I cannot find the microphone wires among the harness! do you know where it goes the other side of wires. BSI maybe? I also have a 3 button on top of the LCD which i have to figure out where to connect, i need a socket to connect these buttons to somewhere but don't know where? what about the old screen? is there any cable i can use for wiring? what do i need to connect for GPS? only a fakra cable? anything else I have to be aware?
  3. Do you have any idea if i can quickly fix it? Or should i throw it away? I didn't buy ldvs 4 pin cable yet. I haven't found it in Europe. I have to order it from China. Do you think it worth? To spend more money on? If you think is already ruined it is waste of time.????
  4. So far I don't have the LVDS 4 pin cable. I just connect the big black square socket coming from the car to the unit. All my concern is if I damaged the unit! Because I did not remove pin no. 15 as you guys described and when I put the socket into the unit i could hear a spark sound! I really do not know how to find Lvds cable. I am still looking for it on the Internet.
  5. The screen and head unit are connected. There is no cable between them so when i put the connectorwithout remove pin no. 15 nothing happened. It was totally black.
  6. thanks for the reply i attached the pictures of current head unit and the one i have bought recently to mount. the car is Berlingo B9 year 2009
  7. hi guys sorry for writing in English I am not sure about the original radio if it is rd4 or rd5. I realized from your conversations i have to remove pin 15. I did not remove it and just connected it. did I just damage the unit? or i can still use it? i checked the fuse on the fuse box and on the radio. both were fine. i got the SMEG from ebay from Germany. i hope you guys can help me to fix the damage :( I also miss ldvs cable and a cable from 3 button on top of the unit to SMEG and a cable for microphone, I have no idea how to find these cables. I also dont know if i have to draw a wire from BSI to SMEG. I appreciate your help in advance
